Juneteenth - June 19th, 2021 “2020: The COVID Rebellions” is a homage to the struggles of Bay Area Black and Brown communities being heavily impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and police terrorism against people of color. This documentary project highlights the voices of these communities, which have often gone unheard in the mainstream media during the pandemic. These stories offer a healing and authentic reflection of everyday lives in the face of global transformation.
